For this project, we needed to remove a 17-year-old spring tensioner system. It was the first time a project like this was ever attempted.

  • Scope of work was to remove a 17 year old spring tensioner system for the walls on the EB1003 TLP Prince.
  • We removed the old system and installed a new nitrogen based cylinder system from DTI of Houston.
  • This project included numerous hours of fabrication work at our shop as well as removal and installation at the rig location.
